We need a super-talented Media Coordinator who is AMAZING at— managing and coordinating digital and traditional marketing content as assigned by the Marketing Operations Manager. Serve as a point of contact between the marketing operations team and the creative team as well as third party vendors. The position will also assist in the layout and typesetting of printed materials and will be responsible to know the correct specs and needs for each piece of marketing material and coordinate getting these materials out to the consumer.

Duties entail.

  • Coordinate promotional activities between creative, marketing operations, and the stores.
  • Reviews ad copy with Merchandising and Marketing management before final press date to ensure brand promotion is effective and designed to reach the target audience, as well as to ensure accuracy and appropriate exclusionary and legal language.
  • Coordinate and manage relationships with third party vendors to ensure the creation and delivery of all marketing materials including: Print materials, digital media assets, gift cards, etc.
  • Measures and tracks advertising performance to ensure that strengths and weaknesses of each promotion are identified as well as identifying new ideas to incorporate into future promotions. Communicates these strengths and weaknesses and provides recommendations to Merchandising and Marketing management to help ensure success of future promotions.
  • Partners with Merchandising and Marketing management to define and communicate processes for improving marketing and event planning, cross-functional team communication, work integration and teamwork between stores, marketing and merchandising.
  • Serves as project leader or team member on special projects and company initiatives as needed. Projects may be complex, fast-paced and deadline driven, and may have multiple deliverables and deadlines per project initiative.
  • Maintains giveaway inventory for company-sponsored events
  • Performs other related duties as required. Provide administrative support to each member of the marketing team as needed.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • AA, Bachelors (or working on Bachelor's) degree in marketing, communication, or business-related field
  • Outline and establish project plans/timelines and communicate to the department to implement event details.
  • Strong communication skills working with store managers/stakeholders to understand their objective and offer strategic solutions to drive successful events.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills—ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work under pressure with tight timelines
  • Ability to interact and work with a team with a strong attention to detail and high sense of urgency
  • Ability to take on new tasks as needed and effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment
  • Assist in creating and collating marketing materials as needed
  • Be able to see other people’s points of view and take on critical feedback
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, Teams, and OneDrive
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
