Med Spa Receptionist

Our fast-paced Medical Boutique located in Delray Beach is seeking a full-time receptionist. Prior experience in a medical office is a plus. Must be a fast learner, team player with the ability to work alone and take initiative, hardworking and motivated, detail oriented, organized, and multi-tasker (handling multiple tasks simultaneously) with a positive personality.

This position calls for significant patient interaction, answering phones, scheduling/confirming appointments, checking patients in and out, collecting payments, using an electronic kiosk system, scanning charts, office paperwork, and filing accordingly.

The minimum requirements for this position are:

• We are open Monday through Friday 9am-6pm & Saturdays 10am-4pm . For this position, you must be available to work any of these hours with the ability to be on a rotating basis for the Saturday shift. Which would be working one or two Saturdays per month.
• Computer skills: Our office utilizes computerized scheduling and health record systems. The ability to learn a variety of software programs is required. EMR experience preferably eClinicals a huge plus
• Excellent customer service skills: The ability to convey a professional demeanor on the telephone as well as face to face with patients is essential
• Multi-tasking: Due to the busy nature of our office, the candidate must be able to manage different tasks while remaining calm and professional. Excel under pressure while remaining empathetic with patient needs and concerns.
• Greet patients and check in patients for appointment per office protocol, obtain needed paperwork and verify it has been completed in full.
• Collect payments and ability to manage and count register, reconcile daily receipts per office protocol
• Answer incoming calls in a timely manner, respond to inquiries, route calls to proper person/department, or take detailed messages. Calls may include scheduling appointments, cancelling, or rescheduling appointments.
• Dependable and responsible. Be on time and have flexibility in staying late
