- Perform a variety of non-repetitive, complex, and unique precision assembly operations on electromechanical products
- May initiate and execute redlines/mark-ups on assembly drawings
- Assemble, disassemble, troubleshoots, and reassemble using blueprints, sketches, engineering specifications and standard test equipment applying a considerable knowledge of mechanical and electrical interrelations
- Proficient in drilling/tapping and in the use of squares, levels, and calipers
- May assemble and modify pre-production precision units for engineering personnel as directed
- Assemble fabricated parts to relatively small or light subassemblies and complete units
- May perform sub-assembly tests to meet tolerances and product specifications
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and small power tools to assemble units
- May interface with external customers and vendors
