Job Summary
The purpose of this job is to perform sub-assembly and final assembly of mechanical parts for RF & Microwave Components utilized in a variety of markets.
Essential Functions:
- Experience in production assembly work.
- Produces components (sub-assemblies or finished goods) by assembling parts.
- Ability to follow and interpret written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to perform repetitive and accurate work.
- Attention to detail and strong focus on quality.
- Punctual, dependable and a quick learner.
- Proficient use of basic hand tools, soldering irons.
- Gluing and sealing using Loctite, epoxy, RTV and other compounds.
- Mechanical assembly of machined parts.
- Identify product defects and report issues to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Keep accurate records/logs etc.
- Ability to solder a plus.
Requirements:
- Able to work up to 40 hours per week
- US Citizen or ability to work in the US
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Read Bill of Material (B.O.M.) and interpret engineering drawings.
- Must have good communication skills and work well with others.
- 3-5 years of experience preferred
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
