As the Director of Advancement and Communication, you will be responsible for building relationships with outside foundations and agencies, as well as coordinating and implementing fundraising efforts to support our programs and services. As the Director of Advancement and Communications, you would make a very important impact within Catholic Charities team and to those who are economically poor and the vulnerable. As the Director of Advancement and Communications, you would:

• Lead the Development team to identify, cultivate and steward strategic relationships with a diverse array of funders to meet or exceed a $2M annual revenue plan.
• In partnership with the executive team, determine appropriate fundraising targets for private philanthropy and public agencies, in accordance with the strategic plan.
• Oversee plan and timing for a capital campaign to support the organization’s strategic plan.
• Set clear, achievable team goals and ensure staff have resources, access, and professional development opportunities to perform at high levels.
• Engage Organizational and Agency Level Board members in developing the plan for meeting fundraising and communications goals, and leveraging the time, talent and generosity of board members.
• Personally oversee a portfolio of key individual and institutional supporters.
• Represent Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany at local and regional events.
• Other duties as assigned.

Director of Advancement and Communications Minimum Salary: $85,000

Director of Advancement and Communications Maximum Salary: $98,000

Director of Advancement and Communications Schedule: Monday through Friday, Day shift = 8:30 - 4:30; with occasional evenings and weekends.
