Duties:
- - Operate a crane to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment
- - Ability to operate a crane over water on a barge.
- - Safely maneuver loads using hand signals or radio communication
- - Inspect and maintain the crane to ensure proper functioning
- - Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or damage
- - Collaborate with construction crews to coordinate lifting operations
- - Assist with rigging and securing loads for transportation
- - Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the crane as needed
Skills:
- - Valid Crane Operator certification/license
- -Valid TWIC card
- - Proficient in operating various types of cranes, including dig, build, forklift, boom truck, and backhoe operation
- - Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols related to crane operations
- - Ability to interpret hand signals or radio communication effectively
- - Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- - Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy loads and work in various weather conditions
- - Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Note: Prior experience in construction settings is preferred- Per Diem possible
