General Description:
Maintain Engineering Specifications and other related technical records in accordance with an established system of recording and indexing to provide a consolidated source of reference.
Essential Functions
Compile and classify data to existing product records.
Establish new product files.
Change specification records to suit engineering revisions.
Research and provide information as requested by the engineering department, sales department, cost accounting, etc. having to do with product, unit and part numbers and specifications, standard relationships, drawing numbers, etc.
Produce new and revised drawings as required using Autocad.
Release shop orders as required.
Issue new drawing numbers, part identification numbers, product serial numbers, etc., through the operation of an established control system.
