Job is located in Logan, UT
Job Functions:
Work with team or individually to develop product concept and detailed designs
Leads design and analysis efforts
Performs mechanical design and analysis
Performs finite element analysis (stress, and vibrations)
Writes test plans and procedures and lead test efforts
Work with fabricators and technicians to get hardware fabricated, assembled, and tested
Assemble and test hardware
Supports proposal development
Documents work using Microsoft Products
Supports company-wide quality processes
Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Mechanical/ Aerospace Engineering or Bachelors Degree with 5+ years of experience
Experienced in thermal sciences and space systems
Good analysis and computer skills including 3D modeling, FEA, creating drawings, etc. (SolidWorks, FEMAP highly desirable)
Competent in MS Office suite
Good communication and hands-on hardware skills
Experience in handling/ assembling complicated hardware a plus
Must be a U.S. Citizen
