CarShield is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team and play a vital role in developing and designing our next-generation products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical Engineering, a proven track record in industry product design, and extensive experience using Onshape for CAD modeling.
This position is responsible for:

• Product Design:


• Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of innovative products in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct thorough research to understand industry trends, user needs, and competitor products to inform design decisions.
• Generate detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using Onshape to communicate design intent.


• CAD Modeling and Simulation:


• Utilize Onshape to create and modify complex 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings focusing on manufacturability and performance.
• Perform engineering analyses, simulations, and validation tests to ensure designs meet specified requirements and standards.
• Collaborate with simulation and analysis teams to optimize product designs for structural integrity, thermal performance, and other relevant factors.


• Prototyping and Testing:


• Work closely with the prototyping team to bring concepts to life by creating physical prototypes.
• Conduct rigorous testing and analysis of prototypes to validate design assumptions and iterate on designs as needed.


• Collaboration and Communication:


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineering, industrial design, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components into the overall product.
• Communicate design ideas and technical information effectively to team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in industry product design with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
• Proficiency in CAD modeling, explicitly using Onshape.
• Solid understanding of engineering principles and materials science.
• Experience with simulation tools and FEA analysis is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
