Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years of experience working in either facilities, labs, semiconductor, and/or data centers
- Professional Engineering License recommended.
- Knowledge of process PLC and commercial HVAC control systems
- Experience with standard operating procedure creation and training skills
- Solid written and oral communication skills
- Assertive nature and willingness to support customer needs when challenged
- Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects and assignments
- Experience with energy efficiency improvement projects
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Core mechanical systems of responsibility include, but not limited to:
- Mechanical/Process systems (Process Cooling Water, Clean Dry Air, Chilled Water, Hot Water, Air Handling systems, Exhaust Air systems, Humidification systems)
- Provide Mechanical Engineering design review input for facility infrastructure and process tool installation projects
- Operational ownership of mechanical system performance
- Provide Mechanical Engineering construction support and commissioning support for facility infrastructure projects.
- Support as-build documentation of mechanical system layouts and P&ID’s
- Maintain load/capacity studies for facility infrastructure systems
- Perform review and approval of cleanroom certification reports
- Provide oversight of air and water balancing services
- Provide oversight of infrastructure system performance and up-time.
- Work directly with contractors and service providers to ensure delivery of operational results.
- Oversee Failure Mode and Effect Analysis during project design development phase.
- Capital and expensed project financial management and control experience
