Component Quality Engineer, Thermal / Mechanical Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing end-to-end quality of thermal and mechanical products used in Meta’s data centers, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to assure new product readiness and ensure performance meets quality and reliability metrics.
- Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers to ensure the quality and reliability of thermal mechanical components including advanced liquid cooling technologies
- Quality Standards: Define, communicate, and enforce quality standards and requirements for thermal components used in our products.
- Supplier Audits: Conduct regular audits of suppliers to assess compliance with quality standards, identify areas for improvement, and ensure continuous improvement.
- Root Cause Analysis: Lead investigations into quality issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaboration with Engineering Teams: Partner with internal engineering teams to define and communicate quality requirements, provide feedback on design for manufacturability, and ensure seamless integration of thermal components.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality standards, audit reports, and supplier performance metrics.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives in supplier quality processes and collaborate with suppliers to implement best practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in Supplier Quality Engineering, with a focus on thermal mechanical components and liquid cooling technology.
- Experience analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
