Mechanical Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in engineering documentation, 3D modeling, and Aluminum welding for product development and operational support.

Requirements:

• BS Degree in relevant field

• 5+ years of mechanical design engineering experience

• Proficiency in using Inventor for 3D modeling

• Experience in documenting bill of materials, dimensioning, drawing documentation

Preferred Skills:

• Expertise in Aluminum or Sheet metal design tied to product not just manufacturing equipment

• Proven track record in new product development

• Familiarity with welding assemblies and machine design

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all Engineering documentation related to existing products including Part documentation, BOM's, BOO's, Solid Modeling, Detail Drawings, Assembly Drawings etc.

• Accurately models parts and products in 3D using Inventor

• Troubleshoot problems and discuss solutions with all appropriate personnel to assure quality, safety, production, and plant profitability are met

• Support product initiatives for customer sales specials and operations as required

• Collaborate closely with manufacturing, purchasing, quality departments and vendors to insure all quality objectives are met.

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
