Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Mechanical Designer/Drafterposition.
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Cambridge, MA
Pay: $43/hr.
Length: 6 months (temp to hire)
Shift: 3 days in office, 21 hours per week
Note: This is an onsite role. No other options available.
Responsibilities for thisMechanical Designer/Drafter position include but are not limited to:
Pay Details: $43.00 per hour

Responsibilities for thisMechanical Designer/Drafter position include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with Engineering and Quality team to capture design outputs for a novel medical device
- Develop and manage documentation including CAD models, fabrication drawing, procedures, BOMs, and specifications
- 5 years or greater experience in mechanical design and drafting of machined, casted, sheet metal, and/or plastic molded component
- Expertise in utilizing SolidWorks for modeling complex 3D systems and drafting components
- Strong understanding of GD&T as per ASME Y14.5
- Experience in generating and managing BOM structures, ECRs and documentation through a QMS
Pay Details: $43.00 per hour
