Job Description
Hours are 8pm to 6am Sunday through Thuirsday
Responsible for utilizing equipment to consistently produce a quality product in an efficient manner and responsible for:Sustain 5S, lean manufacturing philosophy and culture.
Adherence to established safety policies, procedures and practices.
Supports the organization’s efforts toward continuous improvement.
Supports the organization’s goals and values.
Demonstrates teamwork by collaborating with others to improve overall standards of performance, service, safely and quality.
Provides good customer service to all customers, both internal and external
Set up and perform simple and complex assembly/fabrication operations on bench, floor fixture, or progressive line while maintaining the cycle time.
Perform and document tasks as outlined in the process work instruction sheets.
Operate hand and/or power tools.
Perform inspection as outlined in the Inspection Instruction sheets.
Operate manual production equipment consisting of spot welders, mig, welders, gas welders, plasma-cutters, sealer flow guns, spray guns, sanders, grinders appropriate for assigned areas.
Use various measurement tools.
Perform other duties as assigned by Team Leader, Facilitator and/or Manager.
Clean work area
Mig Weld experience, a plus
Metal finish experience a plus
Ability to multitask is critical.
Ability to learn quickly, multiple jobs and become proficient in each.
Analyze, audit and inspect work area looking for opportunities for improvement.
Cooperate with leaders, facilitator, and managers and communicate in a positive manner.
