Mechanical Hose Assembler

PrideStaff is seeking coachable Entry-LevelMechanical Hose Assemblers for a MotorSports Manufacturing Company in Concord, NC. The Production and Quality Detailer will assemble, test, and pack manufactured products used in professional racing including road, oval, drag aircraft, desert, and marine.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Pay: $14-16/hr.

Duties:

• Assemble hose, tubing, and/or electrical wiring harnesses, and more according to directions.
• Read blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then build to those specifications.
• Test high-performance parts and hoses for use in many fluid and air distribution applications across all forms of motorsports and aerospace.
• Use various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Ensure quality and uniform completion; resolve any identified problems and alert the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Detail-oriented and consistent.
• Works well as a productive member of a team, in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.

Education and Experience:

• Prefer candidates with automotive training and an interest in motorsports.
• High School diploma or equivalency is required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
• Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products as directed.
• Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
