Position Overview:
Learn and apply automation theory, practical experience, product line knowledge, and market insights to recommend safe and effective solutions.
Identify appropriate solution options for unique customer applications.
Utilize project management skills to test and specify products for customer projects.
Establish strong relationships with end customers, distributors, and the outside sales team, offering product support both remotely and occasionally on-site.
Provide quotations and support to customers and distributors as required.
Assist colleagues when needed, including answering phones and supporting assembly services.
Attend offsite training sessions, including those at the parent company, and occasionally participate in trade shows.
Offer market and product feedback to Product Management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Applications Engineer or in Industrial manufacturing processes.
Detail-oriented with a passion for process development and improvement.
Industry knowledge or keen interest in technology, sales channels, and business development.
Self-motivated with a hands-on approach.
Strong strategic thinking and project execution skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in MS Office, sales contact management software, and the ability to learn new computer systems. Experience with Solidworks/AutoCAD preferred.
Strong analytical and statistical analysis skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining attention to detail.
High level of professionalism and responsiveness to both internal and external customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
Project management training and experience.
Product management experience.
Experience as a team lead, supervisor, or mentor.
Background in the material handling industry.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $88,000.00 per year
