Md, Target Date-Multi Asset

The Managing Director, Target Date Multi-Asset will report to the Managing Director, Head of the Nuveen's Target Date Multi-Asset Team and assist in contributing to the continued growth and success of this award-winning Team. The Managing Director will be integral to assisting the 6-person target date multi-asset team with the management of the over 60 funds and $80 billion dollars of assets managed by the Team through funds of funds and the management of the allocations among the investment strategies in the over $100 billion CREF Stock Account. The Managing Director's areas of contribution would include a) fund presentations to consultants, clients and boards, b) asset allocation research (e.g., strategic and tactical allocations), and c) coordination with team members with dedicated responsibilities in capital market assumptions, manager research, and retirement outcome simulations. Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Collaborate with team members regarding their dedicated research responsibilities in the areas of capital market assumptions, manager research, and retirement outcome simulations.
• Present target date investment strategy overviews, quarterly updates, and enhancements to strategies with consultants, clients, and boards.
• Answer questions about research agenda items, including asset allocation glidepath projects and underlying funds.
• Strategic and tactical asset allocation projects to enhance retirement outcomes for target date retirement funds and enhance risk-adjusted returns for the target risk funds.
• Prepare data analysis using Excel and write summary memos overviewing research.

Base Pay Range: $168,800/yr. - $281,300/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
