Buxmont Academy, a Pennsylvania licensed private academic school, is seeking a Math Teacher for our campus in Pottstown, PA to work with students grades 7 through 12. If you are a teacher who enjoys working with at-risk students, has excellent interpersonal skills, and relishes new experiences and learning, this position is for you.
Hours are Monday through Friday, up to 29 hours a week. Buxmont Academy offers a competitive salary and 401K retirement plan. Required Skills/Abilities for the Math Teacher role:
- Desire to teach secondary school-aged students and ability to adapt to their developmental status.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the proven ability to maintain professionalism and tact in high stress situations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The capacity to work effectively both independently and with a team.
- Proficient computer skills.
