The primary purpose of this position is to manage the physical inventory of raw materials and packaging components for the plants the Material Coordinator is assigned to support. This position will conduct analysis on cycle end counts and month end counts and ensure adjustments are completed in a timely manner. This will ensure that Axium’s inventory is accurate in SAP and will allow the facilities to operate efficiently. This will require working with internal Axium Packaging teams to ensure factory alignment
Key Attributes & Position Responsibilities:
· Analyze open purchase order reports daily, ensuring all material that has physically arrived on site is properly received in SAP. This will require daily communication with the receiving department, and the material planners.
· Review production schedule reports, confirming that the raw materials will arrive on time to support production schedule dates.
· Communication with Axium Material Planner’s to make sure production will not be scheduled without the necessary material on hand.
· Monthly review of any open returns by analyzing the open return report and following up with the Material Planners. Returns need to be completed in a timely and accurate fashion.
· Inventory management involving; cycle counts, month end inventory reconciliation, and aged inventory reports.
· Team player with a positive and cooperative attitude in a highly cross-functional organization.
· Self-motivated team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced and agile business environment.
Experience & Required Skills:
· Entry level position with future growth into Material Planner and Supply Chain Analyst roles within Axium
· High School/GED is required, Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, , Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related business or technical field preferred but not required for this position
· Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office; especially Excel and Access technical skills
· Strong analytical, organizational, mathematics, and communication skills.
· Willingness to train/study toward APICS (CPIM) certification (preferred)
· Ability to handle multiple priorities.
· Demonstrate adaptability when faced with a new challenge.
· Passionate and detailed in task execution.
· Agile mind-set with and openness to change.
· Limited travel as this position focuses on on-site procurement and materials planning department support.
· Possess good organizational and communication skills both written and verbal
