JOB SUMMARY
Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site by performing the following duties.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials.
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
- Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
- Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on weekly inventory cut sheet.
- Other duties as assigned.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations with other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment requires the use of earplugs. Workplace safety is a primary concern and it requires employee to maintain good housekeeping.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
