The Material Handler will operate fork lifts and other industrial vehicles. They will be moving materials throughout the plant in order to fulfill manuafacturing needs. Additionally, he/she will comply with all safety rules and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Unload and stack materials by raising and lowering lifting device.
- Inventory materials on the work floor and supply workers with materials as needed.
- Load or unload materials onto or off of trucks for shipment and receipt.
- Maintain general upkeep of fork truck and replace fuel as necessary.
- Must be willing to perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Specialized Knowledge and Experience
- At least one year of manufacturing experience is required.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,operating instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Must be dependable, able to meet attendance, overtime and other scheduling requirements.
- Must be able to perform work safely, including utilization of all required personal protective equipment. At a minimum, this includes safety glasses and steel-toed shoes.
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions (hot or cold).
- Passion for delivering quality work and practicing continuous improvement.
