Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and general labor tasks. As a Painter/Laborer, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and assisting with various construction projects. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
**Althought most of our work is in the Springfield, MO area, we do travel to surrounding coumminities on occasion.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and filling holes
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes to surfaces
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete painting tasks
- Assist with general labor tasks such as moving materials and cleaning work areas
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Painter/Laborer or similar role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools
- Familiarity with stucco, trim carpentry, masonry, and fixture installation is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality workmanship
Skills:
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools
- Knowledge of different types of paints, stains, varnishes, and finishes
- Understanding of surface preparation techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Trustworthy
- Good attitude
- Shows up on time, daily Mon-Fri
- Current and Valid Driver's License & personal vehicle
- Working cell phone
- Pass pre-employment & random drug tests
