Job Description

Under direct supervision, the Material Handler 1 operates forklifts or other mobile equipment to perform routine moving, staging, loading or unloading of materials, supplies or products within or near plant, yard, warehouse or work site.

• Transports raw materials, supplies, products and/or finished goods to and from storage or production lines and places them in designated area
• Actively participates in continuous improvement and corrective action activities
• Completes all necessary paperwork and transactions, including scanning requirements
• Perform housekeeping, 5-S and other duties as assigned

Compensation:

• Starting at $19.09

Qualifications

Minimum:

· High School diploma or equivalent, or attain ACT WorkKeys Assessment at certified job profile skill level

Preferred:

· 3+ months of experience operating mobile equipment in a manufacturing or shipping environment

· Mobile equipment certification

· Basic computer skills

· Time Management – prioritizing work to meet internal and/or external customer demands

· Detail Oriented – ensures accuracy of product and documentation to meet internal and/or external customer demands

· Good communication skills

· Mobile equipment operations skill
