As a Material HandlerLevel 3 here at Honeywell Aerospace Repair and Overhaul (AERO R&O), you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate movement of materials within the warehouse. You will play a critical role in ensuring that materials are properly stored, organized, and delivered to support repair and overhaul operations. With your attention to detail and commitment to quality, you will contribute to the overall success of our operations.
You will report directly to our Sr. Materials Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our repair and overhaul operations by:
- Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming materials
- Picking, packing, and shipping materials to support repair and overhaul orders
- Performing inventory counts, trace and reconciling discrepancies
- Perform daily updates of ERP System to reflect material inventory counts and transactions accurately
- Operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Having strong work ethic, team-oriented attitude, and continuous improvement mindset
- Being detail oriented when handling paperwork and parts
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in teams meetings/Tier meetings
- Coordinate and communicate with manufacturing departments, Lab, and Supply Chain
- Perform daily receiving, inspecting, storing and recording of incoming materials in SAP
- Pick, pack, and ship materials timely to support repair and overhaul orders
- Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies accurately in ERP system
- Learn and follow shipping safety regulations
- Operate material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Team-oriented attitude and continuous improvement mindset
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs

YOU MUST HAVE
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in material handling or warehouse operation

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
