Job Responsibilities:
- Be flexible enough to work overtime, assist in material handling functions including Receiving, Shipping and Stockroom functions as required.
- Creates, updates, executes, and analyzes inventory cycle counts.
- Executes all material transactions for scanning functions pulling and issuing materials.
- Responsible for identifying, resolving, and finding the root cause of discrepancies and other related inventory errors.
- Performs inventory transactions and reporting on customer owned inventory when required.
- Interfaces with all departmental supervisors, support functions, buyers, program management, and other pertinent functions.
- Other duties may be assigned
- Experience with Inventory Control methods and practices.
Education & Experience
- Completion of high school, vocational training, or equivalent is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in material handling or related area and ability to learn material transaction concepts.
Skills:
- Possess and demonstrate good team relations skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn new software/programs.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail oriented with ability to focus on task and specific job instructions. Should be able to self-direct themselves, interact with Program managers and Buyers as well as Customers.
- Able to lift, push and pull 50lbs regularly.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
