Purpose/Introduction
Performance Pipe is currently seeking a shipping operator to join the Reno, Nevada manufacturing team. This is a safety sensitive position supporting a 24/7/365 plastic extrusion operation.
Starting Hourly Wage: $20.99/hr. Overtime is paid at time and a half for hours worked over 40 hours in a work week. The work schedule is 6:30-3:00 M-F with varying weekend hours once a month.

Responsibilities
- Follows safe work practices, basic operations procedures and contributes to a safe work culture
Uses basic power tools
Measures pipe and verifies dimensional tolerances are within criteria
Prepares product for shipping per packaging requirements
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age and have a High School Diploma or GED
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Follows workplace/plant safety practices and procedures
- General knowledge and experience using power tools
- Basic computer and math skills
- Proficient in English. (verbal and written)
- Detailed-oriented
- Demonstrated history of applying new information (technology with math and learning skills)
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. without assistance
- Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be able to work safely and adhere to all plant safety requirements.
- Minimum of 2 years diesel, propane forklift operation experience.
- Basic math skills and be able to read a tape measure.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of diesel, propane forklift operation experience.
- Shipping and receiving experience in outdoor yard setting. Loading and unloading flatbeds and containers.
- Basic computer skills, specifically the MS Office Suite.
