Primary Duties:
- Handle material, parts, tools, and supplies manually as well as operate power equipment including cranes and forklifts to lift, move and place parts & components.
- Prepare units for shipment per established work instructions and checklists. And assist in completing shipping / receiving documents & packaging and labeling products properly.
- Load and unload material following pre-established protocol and assist in the loading/unloading of trucks.
- Track, maintain, verify, and count & record product inventory, accuracy of cycle counting of 95% or greater.
- Sort, pick & issue to jobs while maintaining documentation and computer data base.
- Operate and safely and accurately use a variety of hand and power tools including but not limited to tape, square, level, saws, grinders, and drills.
- Perform a variety of tasks focused on shipping and receiving, warehousing, and inventory control.
- Meet deadlines while working safely.
- Maintain a clean, safe working area and equipment following all applicable safety procedures and equipment care, operation, inspection & preparation.
- Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.
Schedule:
- Full Time position
- 10-hour or 8-hour shifts
- Day Shift (possible 2nd shift in the future)
- Monday – Friday
- Some weekend if required to meet schedule, overtime announced the Wednesday prior.

Required Experience:
- Experience operating forklift and/or heavy equipment required.
- Experience reading and comprehending blueprints, bill of materials, customer specifications, and/or work orders.
- ERP software experience preferred.
- General computer knowledge with MS windows applications.
- Skills in following verbal and written instructions to ensure task is completed accurately.
- Attention to detail.
- Good verbal, written and oral communication.
- Problem-solving (Yes! We want you to think and share your ideas!)
- Willingness to be flexible with job duties to meet plant and customer requirements (If you’ve been in this business a while, you know that the customer rules, so sometimes we have to be flexible!)
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, climb steps, lift 50 pounds or push/pull 100 pounds following safety procedures & use a ladder following safety procedures.
