POSITION SUMMARY:
Filtration Group is looking for a Material Handler.
Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and safe working environment in line with company policies
• Move material and other various material handling duties in the facility
• Manually loads raw material and/or finished product on skid or hand truck
• Stack skids or pallets in designated areas. Cleans up and disposes of scrap bracing.
• Use tools such as hammers and crowbars to remove strapping, open crates, strap cars
• Ability to work in other areas of the plant
• Responsible for checking tags on product
• Report problems or issues to group lead
• May assist in placement of full and empty oil drums
• Utility person on the line in assembly department
• Assist inventory
• To manually, by hand truck or by forklift and pallet jack move materials, supplies and finished goods to designated places in the facility or onto trucks.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds of weight
• Ability to read and understand spec sheets
• Willingness to learn other line jobs to serve as utility person for breaks and lunch
• Must be able to operate a tow motor
• Must be able to do end of the day Scrap Reports
• Standing, walking and lifting for an 10 hour shift
