Summary:
The Material Handler will organize, maintain and restock the Fabrication Parts Bins.
Position Responsibilities:
- Changing out bins and parts at the Press Brakes
- Communicate and coordinate with Press Brake operators to supply the right parts for the day’s production
- Putting bins into their proper location throughout the day
- Unload steel off trucks throughout the day
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to operate forklift and overhead hoist in a safe and orderly manner
- Maintain high safety standards while working in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated dependability/good attendance
- Minimum high school diploma, GED or equivalent school with relevant work experience
- Minimum 1-3 years of applicable manufacturing work experience
- Self-motivated individual which understands the importance of time constraints
- Must be able to read and understand established procedures and detailed work instructions (Blueprints)
- Ability to interact and understand electronic time keeping
- Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs. regularly and bend, squat, walk or stand for long periods of time
