Additional Duties and Responsibilities
• May check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary.
• Prepares and maintains records of items shipped. Post weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for shipment.
• Ensure timely and accurate shipping information is available to Order Management.
• Performs inventory control activities, including cycle count, data entry, report generation and reconciliation, and transaction history investigation.
• Performs Receiving functions and transactions.
• Interfaces with Buyers, Planners, Production, and Scheduling to process material transactions, movements, audits, and tracking; and to fulfill customer demand.
• Proficient understanding of BOM’s and WIP Processing.
• Examines, modifies, or manages manufacturing work orders for correct set up, and prepares them for builds.
• May including incorporation of deviations/OARs when applicable.
• May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.
• May prepare ETR/IDF internal Shipping Documents.
• Secondary responsibilities may include any and all material handling duties.
Material Coordinator Day-to-Day
• Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments. Basic systems knowledge. Ability to communicate effectively in oral or written formats.
