Calex Manufacturing Inc., which was acquired by Murata Power Solutions in 2018, has been in business for more than 50 years, designing and manufacturing DC-DC power converters for automotive, transportation and industrial applications. Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Coordinator to join our team. The Material Coordinator is responsible for managing materials in the plant and maintaining the integrity of inventory records in ERP system for Calex This position is also responsible for tactical purchasing of assigned production materials for Calex site .
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- The Material Coordinator is responsible for stockroom accuracy and control, picking and shipping of materials, and working with all stakeholders to meet customer commitments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in the stockrooms and the ERP system for all material within the Calex plant.
- Controls Inventory accuracy through process controls and cycle counting. Investigates and reconciles discrepancies and reports findings to stakeholders when applicable.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures.
- Conduct cycle count and report inventory accuracy.
- Maintains and updates inventory records for Master data in ERP.
- Quality focused. Check orders for quantity accuracy, record and check lot numbers, obtaining secondary verifications as required. Perform incoming and outgoing inspections as needed.
- Execute Purchase Requisition for assigned production materials per ERP/MRP.

Experience Required
- High School Diploma preferred.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in supply chain, inventory, financial analysis.
