Material Coordinator II / Inventory Analyst
Davenport, Iowa- Full Time
Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at John Deere's facility in Davenport, IA. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will coordinate the flow of materials in multiple departments of the factory, which may include shipping and receiving. Ensure that the production personnel have the parts they need in order to produce the desired product(s). Oversee and ensure that the inventory is correct and on time and identify problems and make suggestions involving production schedules. Coordinate the activities for the tactical execution of a production plan within the factory. Work in larger and broader groups. May supervise or provide work direction to hourly material handlers, stock chasers, or truckers.
This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.
Duties:
- Coordinate for multiple departments the procuring, expediting, producing, and delivering material on time.
- Managing the movement of rejected material to source.
- Recommend procedures for specific situations that will maintain inventory accuracy and management.
- Find and correct the root cause of material shortages.
- May provide recommendations for solutions.
- Utilize Master Schedule to create and distribute daily production schedules.
- May include the processing of transactions for inbound/outbound materials.
- Audit material replenishment cycles and accuracy and may create material replenishment plans with assistance.
- Resolve inventory errors and expedite parts to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Work critical shortage reports to ensure part availability.
- Implement the output from the engineering release and change management process.
Requirements:
- Microsoft Excel user, spreadsheet analysis, functions, charting.
- Ability to collect data from various sources and problem solve.
- Ability to interact with multiple functional groups to collect data and resolve issues.
- Manager is looking for candidates to have a degree in Business related field, open to all candidates with aggressive work style and strong communication skills.
- High attention to detail is a must.
- Must be open to variable shifts.
