Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with cloud architecture, designing and building architectures in cloud environments, and in a partner-facing or support role.
- Experience working with an ISV (sell to or sell with) as architect, or in delivery roles providing solutions to end customers.
- Experience building business partnerships with enterprise ISVs and customers.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience building strategic business partnerships, considering technical perspective.
- Experience working with partners and customers as architect or delivery roles providing solutions.
- Experience with Modern Infrastructure (Cloud Service Providers) and/or modern applications platforms, migrating applications, and services to cloud platforms.
- Experience in managing multiple stakeholders in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with networking/security concepts, and knowledge in broader areas like analytics and data.
- Excellent communication skills, and ability to conduct partner CTO and technical discussions and engagements.

As an Independent Software Vendors (ISV) Partner Engineer, Security and Compliance, you will work closely with Partner Development Managers and ISV Sales Specialists to grow the Google CloudSecurity and Compliance technology partner ecosystem. Partner Engineers understand the technical capabilities of our partners and are in the best position to recommend the right partner to our customers. In this role, you will be part of the team responsible for enabling partners across technologies and solutions. You will lead the Security and Compliance partner efforts to enable Google Cloud GTM teams, and contribute to customer adoption of Google Cloud by supporting partners as they illustrate how Google CloudSecurity and Compliance services can help customers innovate, bring their services to market faster, differentiate against the competition, and create new business growth streams.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$214,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Enable and manage Security and Compliance ISV partnerships, acting as a product expert on ISV offers (and their real world applications) and supporting in delivering technical presentations to customers.
- Enable partners in prototyping and demonstrating product integrations and guiding customers through assessments of their existing legacy application environment(s). Support the partners developing solutions ensuring best use of Google Cloud Platform.
- Work with Partner Managers and Sales Specialists to identify and recruit ISVs who can deliver solutions to our customers.
- Support partners in PoC's/demos of ISV product integrations in customer environments, and identify and mitigate key customer technical objections.
- Build ISV solution focused technical assets to consume and also recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution. Collaborate with partners to develop GCP specific Solution Documentation.
