Collins Aerospace is seeking a Master Project Scheduler, NPI Programsfor the development, maintenance, analysis, and reporting of New Development Programs for our Landing Systems Division. The candidate will support maintaining project schedules, project documentation, and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). The position will be an integral part of multiple Program Management (PM) teams to ensure the schedules/project plans (scope, cost, schedule, and technical requirements are fully integrated) and are executing as planned.
*Position is Remote reporting to the Haltom, City, TX facility as needed.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Responsible for schedule creation with MS Project, monitoring, analysis, and reporting, while ensuring that schedules meet business requirements, 14-point Assessment standards, and promotes strong project execution.
  • Support PP&C with EVMS metrics as required
  • Responsible to seek input from and drive the team for compliance to schedule need dates, and communicate slippage, progress, and metrics to the Senior Program Manager as requested.
  • Responsible for ensuring that executable program schedules and budgets are in place to meet deliverables on their specific program, from order entry to shipment and billing, and that actions/milestones are occurring as planned
  • Works with the team and the customer on program deliverables, Supplier Data Requirement List submittals, milestones, billing schedule, all which must be aligned with the Master Schedule
  • Work across Collins Landing Systems site and functional boundaries to make sure that manufacturing, ITC, supply chain, support functions, and delivery schedules are in alignment with customer needs and that risks/obstacles are appropriately identified and dealt with in a pro-active and expeditious manner
  • Interface with our customers and suppliers on program specific schedules, processes, and activities
  • Provide current/accurate promise dates to internal and external customers
  • Highlight/identify delivery concerns well in advance
  • Coordinate development of recovery/expedite plans for non-supporting parts
  • Ensure plans for readiness meet changing demands
  • Implement, track and report program specific metrics
  • Develop and maintain appropriate relationships with all customers and suppliers
  • (external/internal) to facilitate the seamless flow of products

Qualifications/Experience Needed:
  • Typically requires University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Minimum 4 years' experience with developing & maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) & Integrated Master Plans (IMP).
  • Minimum 4 years' experience using Microsoft Project
  • Minimum 4 years' experience integrating Costs and Schedules with regards to EVM.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with DCMA
  • ERP and/or MRP experience, preferably SAP
  • Experience with CMS

This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program. The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
