The BCM & Resiliency Manager role will help support and govern the Program at the Market/Business Unit level by executing and delivering against the Business Continuity Management (BCM) strategy with efficiency and highest quality output.
This position is expected to co-ordinate the execution of BCM pillar process activities in collaboration with the needs and direction of the Division BCM Directors and in collaboration with the Petcare BCM & Resiliency team, unit BCM Managers, and internal/external cross-functional partners. The Associate leverages a growth mindset and the MARS 5 Principles as a compass to advance resiliency from external/internal factors impacting the enterprise and addressing the needs and expectations of Petcare unit stakeholders. The Associate operates within the BCM & Resiliency Framework and processes to gain alignment/approvals and guide the organization toward protecting our operational imperatives and ensuring we uphold our promise to our customers.
Updates / Calls to action at BCM forums including Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for tracking progress, highlighting Operational Risk and mitigation recommendations.
In the event of a significant business disruption this role supports business return, response and recovery activation in partnership with BCM Director.

What will be your key responsibilities?
  • Executes the implementation and maintenance of the BCM & Resiliency Program leveraging the three Pillars framework of BCM; (1) Critical Process Map (BIA), (2) Response, Recovery & Restoration Plans for the BIG 4 Impacts (loss of technology, loss of Associates, loss of critical third party vendor and loss of a primary location) and (3) Risk I.D. Mitigation and Status for MVH HQ, regions, markets, and factories;
  • Collaborate with BCM & Resiliency Managers and central team to drive continuous improvement of the BCM program.
  • Support disaster recovery coordination and process delivery included but not limited to IT end-to-end testing, simulation exercises, and crisis management.
  • Leads reporting, data collection, and insights analysis for BCM activities and determines possible solutions to ensure compliance and program effectiveness.
  • Partners with BCM Leaders & Managers to provide training and guidance on preparedness, contingency planning and resiliency within Mars Veterinary Health business units and hospitals/clinics.
  • Escalates issues to BCM Director to help prioritize plans and resources to address operational challenges.
  • Part of the team to help execute the Global Petcare BCM Strategy and priorities to align with the specific needs and focus areas of Mars Veterinary Heath and BCM Director.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time based on support needed.

Total rewards at Mars includes base pay, competitive benefits, and annual bonus (if position is eligible). The full-time pay range for this role is:
USD 81,845.00 - USD 122,768.00
