DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Provide support to Executive Project and Events Manager by assisting in the marketing, branding, and administrative efforts for the company. Work with other departments to promote SugarCreek initiatives and increase brand awareness, specifically with Corporate Social Media Accounts, SugarCreek websites, and company events.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create Press Releases highlighting upcoming SugarCreek events and updates.
- Manage and update Corporate Social Media Accounts (Facebook, Instagram), creating posts that educate consumers about SugarCreek and promote the SugarCreek brand in a positive light.
- Create a Branding Guideline document for internal use.
- Update Website (HubSpot) and integrate new food images to the website.
- Conduct Industry-related Market Research, monitoring for any significant changes or statistical trends.
- Work with other departments to coordinate and plan trade show appearances.
- Manage all corporate-branded collateral, participate in SugarCreek Co-op Program, and coordinate with other departments as needed.
- Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations.
- Support all safety, food quality and sanitation initiatives and policies.
- Follow Sugar Creek Packing Co. safety rules and procedures.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree-seeking program with a major in Marketing or similar field.
Experience: Experience with Adobe Software, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere, Audition, Bridge and Encoder.
Certification or Licensure Requirements: None required.
ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Possess proficiency with computer programs, specifically Microsoft Office and those listed above.
- Able to plan, organize, and manage time effectively.
- Know how to work well with other employees.
- Have a positive outlook.
- Able to write and communicate effectively.
- Possess interest and experience in social media in corporate setting.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
No unusual physical requirements. Physical requirements are consistent with manufacturing-type office positions, including mostly sitting with some standing/walking required. Other light physical activity like using stairs or occasionally moving items weighing less than 25lbs may be required as needed. Some travel may be required in between plants.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Most work is performed in a comfortable, indoor, office-like facility. Occasionally, work is performed in an indoor, manufacturing facility with close proximity to heavy and hazardous machinery. Safety wear is required, including hard hat, hairnet, hearing protection, safety glasses, steel toe boots, coats and other necessary equipment. Very little work is performed outside of the manufacturing facility. Some travel between plants may be required.
