Job description

As the Marketing Strategy Manager, you will lead the marketing team in the development of the broad Marketing Strategy for IDI. This includes working in close partnership with company leaders across all functions, maintaining strong relationships with our vendor partners, and developing compelling messaging that positions IDI as a leader in the insulation distribution sector and assists the organization in achieving its objectives.
Compensation: $88,100 - $123,300
Responsibilities:

  • Lead the marketing team in the development and implementation of an omni-channel Marketing Strategy that supports customer acquisition and retention.
  • Develop strong cross-functional partnerships with Sales leadership and embed yourself in the function to maximize success of the strategy.
  • Support the creation of a marketing calendar to plan key brand, seasonal, and evergreen messages across our marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with agencies to ensure alignment on Marketing Strategy and execution of related initiatives.
  • Think strategically to create new sales tools and marketing collateral aligned with organizational objectives, for use at a local level.
  • Share insight and work collaboratively to represent marketing insights in the development and implementation of an eCommerce strategy and platform.
  • Support the execution of various events, such as trade shows and customer training, as appropriate.
  • Leverage your team's creativity to deliver high-impact messaging across multiple channels.
  • Develop talent within the marketing team, hiring and training to drive performance.

Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
  • 6 - 8 years of hands-on marketing experience in a retail or B2B setting, with a focus on both product and customer.
  • Experience driving the brand storytelling process and bringing them to life by creating comprehensive creative briefs.
  • Excellent understanding of B2B marketing strategies and proficiency in digital media trends
  • Solution- and results-oriented, skilled at using data to measure success and inform decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts and strategies to stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate with and balance the needs of a variety of leaders across the organization.
  • Self-starter with the ability to anticipate needs and next steps without prompting.
  • Highly organized and process driven with strong attention to detail.
  • Preferred experience with and understanding of the dynamics of digital media.

Education
  • BA in Business, Marketing, or related field
