The Marketing & Communications Specialist is responsible for managing the development and execution of targeted marketing initiatives that promote the organization and its services. This individual should be a passionate marketer who can work across teams, various senior leadership, and community partners to proactively align MARCOMM strategy while supporting the mission of Frederick Health. In addition to overall branding initiatives, this individual will oversee all community health marketing support, including goal setting, concepting and execution of integrated campaigns, partnering with internal teams to ensure alignment, cross-team collaboration, and coordination of a 360 approach. Requiring a brand champion to support the various functions of marketing including brand development, messaging strategy and content development, research and planning, project management, advertising, internal communications, reporting and analysis, production, event planning, and digital and social media efforts.
This position requires:
A. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
B. At least 3 years of experience working in Marketing Communications or a related field.
C. Excellent written skills including content development, copywriting, and proofreading.
D. Practical experience developing successful campaigns across a wide range of disciplines including print, broadcast and digital advertising, direct marketing/mail, public relations, social media, and event management.
E. Knowledge of graphic design and as well as CMS platform.
F. Strong working knowledge of social media and digital communications strategies.
G. Understanding of metrics and analytics relating to marketing strategy.
H. Project management and production scheduling skills essential to coordinate the work of a wide range of different internal and external contacts.
I. Deadline-oriented, inquisitive, confident in asking questions and relaying information.
