Here's how a(n) Marketing Specialist for our Seattle District, Bellevue office contributes to our team:
- Creates marketing plans for small to mid-size projects and related initiatives, and ensures they are measurable.
- Creates and enhances brand awareness through development of marketing materials.
- Provides advanced editing and proofreading services.
- Works collaboratively with team members to develop deliverables and execute marketing strategy.
- Creates effective written copy for appropriate mediums.
- Ensures marketing and website content is current and organized properly.
- Builds communications tailored for social media based on strong understanding of the platforms and their requirements.
- Plans and executes district-wide events.
- Collaborates with creative team to achieve marketing objectives in line with branding principles.
- Collaborates with proposal teams in content creation as needed.
- Translates executive strategies and industry knowledge into meaningful and accessible information.
- Postsecondary degree or diploma in marketing, communications, journalism, or equivalent.
- 4 years of progressive experience in a marketing role.
- Strong understanding of brand best practices and ability to execute and communicate brand.
- Understands and participates in marketing strategic planning process.
- Results-oriented with an ability to meet and drive deadlines and work under pressure.
- Working knowledge of data analytics.
- Knowledge of change management methodologies.
- Experience with and ability to engage with all marketing mediums, including web, print, advertising, video, and social media. Able to select appropriate medium for marketing need.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud and other specialized software as required.
- Understands the company and districts business objectives and incorporates them into marketing activities, products, and initiatives.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 annually depending on experience and background.
