Marketing Specialist

SUMMARY

The Marketing Specialist is a key player and new addition to the MCCU marketing team. This role is responsible for creating marketing content, editing communications, and assisting with the development of creative assets.

As a part of this role, the Marketing Specialist will:

• Write and edit content for the website, social media, advertising, and email campaigns.
• Assist graphic designer with edits and content changes in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
• Use project management software (Monday.com) to manage and track marketing campaign deadlines, priorities and workflows.
• Review and edit content to ensure alignment with brand voice and tone.
• Work with outside media vendors to obtain pricing and place media.
• Create reports on marketing campaign performance and share or present them to key stakeholders.

• Participate in internal and external credit union events (parades, branch events, etc.)

• Other duties as assigned and outlined in the full job description.

This role reports to the Integrated Marketing Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in in marketing, communications, or digital marketing with a financial institution or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
