Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for calling on potential clients to gain new business by selling a suite of products and services for qPCR. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong problem-solving mindset, and a passion/drive for gaining new business. This is an in-house Sales position.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Engage/ approach customers professionally both over e-mail, phone, trade shows, and in person.
2. Identify and target prospective customers working closely with our marketing team.
3. Present and demonstrate our products and services to prospective customers highlighting key features and benefits. Products and Services include specimen collection devices and consumables, DNA/RNA extraction and qPCR Reagents, quality control products, and analytic validation service and training.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and make customer presentations, and learn market dynamics and competition.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records (contact information, meeting dates), etc. via CRM software.
6. Meet or exceed assigned Key Performance Indicators consistently.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records including customer information and meeting activity via CRM.
8. Continuously develop product knowledge and stay up to date on industry trends.
Qualifications:
1. A bachelor’s degree in communications, business administration, marketing, science, or a related field is preferred.
2. Proven track record of successful sales experience in a B2B Healthcare environment.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
4. Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a demonstrated ability to overcome objections and secure deals.

7. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage and track customer interactions and sales activities.
8. Willingness to travel as needed
