Marketing & Operations Associate

Houlihan Capital is seeking to hire a Marketing & Operations Associate. A Marketing & Operations Associate’s job entails managing a wide range of marketing processes and projects. This role interacts with the business development, Investment Banking and Valuation and Financial Advisory departments to ensure that the collateral and other communications accurately reflect the brand of the company. A Marketing & Operations Associate performs a range of marketing support duties related to the daily operations of the marketing department.
Marketing Duties (80%)
- Manage and maintain website functionality and content.
- Administration of the CRM (Client Relationship Management) tool.
- Monitor marketing email inboxes and action to resolution.
- Produce weekly Leads reporting for valuation and investment banking practices.
- Create Monthly Business Reviews for business development.
- Update strategy presentations as needed for leadership.
- Maintain the library of past industry experience.
- Assist in writing and editing sales and marketing materials, which include articles, presentations, white papers, and collateral.
- Facilitate employee bios, business cards, headshots, and other employee-related marketing collateral.
- Assist management with marketing outreach initiatives.
Operations Duties (20%)
- Prepare new client forms, such as new engagement forms and initial invoice requests.
- Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls.
- Maintain office supply inventories.
- Act as main purchasing and shipping contact for the firm.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings for managers or supervisors.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 1+ years of marketing experience in the financial services sector.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Express a plus.
- Experience with ChatGPT and Google Gemini a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SharePoint and Teams).
- Effective project management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Sound understanding of marketing principles.
- Excellent grammar skills required and should be able to rework technical content for a wider audience.
- Self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative.
- Effectively communicate and make best use of interpersonal skills.
- Should be able to deliver innovative thoughts.
