The Opportunity
Boutin Jones is looking for a Marketing Manager to join the team. The Marketing Manager is responsible for assisting with developing marketing strategy and implementation and supporting and facilitating all marketing efforts. This includes but is not limited to enhancing, maintaining, and monitoring the firm’s online presence across different channels, branding across all professional and social platforms, the creation of marketing materials and promotional items, and other administrative tasks to support Boutin Jones.

  • $85,000- $105,000 annually depending on experience
  • Full-Time, Exempt Employee

Schedule
Monday – Friday  8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
This position is 100% in office
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collaboration with firm management and other departments to assist in the development of and ensure the effective execution of marketing initiatives
  • Development of all marketing materials for firm-related events
  • Collaboration with media organizations and advertising agencies
  • Management of the firm's online presence including but not limited to the firm website, online directories, and social media profiles
  • Content creation for firm website and firm social media platforms
  • Implementation and monitoring of current marketing campaigns to ensure all timelines are followed and objectives are being met
  • Development of brand marketing and exposure plans/objectives
  • Identifying potential new marketing opportunities
  • Research legal services and professional services industry trends for purposes of marketing initiatives and related content creation
  • Plan and implement firm in-person and web-based events, including logistical tasks, venue selection, vendor coordination, RSVP management, and on-site event support
  • Coordinate and implement post-event activities, such as follow-up communications and evaluation
  • Assist in creating client and prospective client communications
  • Prepare reports to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives
  • Help create and maintain brand guidelines and messaging across all marketing materials and channels
  • Work with firm leadership to help manage media relations, press releases, thought leadership publications, and speaking engagements through all marketing channels
  • Assist in developing and managing the marketing budget

Education and Experience Requirement
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • 7+ years of Marketing experience in the professional services industry (preferred)
  • Knowledge of marketing-related business practices, including advertising, market research, technology, and budgeting
  • Proficient with marketing-related software to assist in the creation of marketing collateral
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools, platforms, and channels
  • Time management and organization skills for planning and executing both large and small marketing projects and initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Goal-oriented and proactive
  • Basic understanding of website management and content management systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with attorneys and firm staff
