Marketing Manager

The Singing Machine Company is looking for a Marketing professional that will take on the role of Marketing Manager and lead strategic planning and execution of Singing Machine’s marketing with brand management being a key focus. Our Marketing Manager will oversee and implement marketing objectives and policies for the entire Singing Machine brand, site merchandising across all internal and public facing platforms including our Company website, ecommerce page, and manage outside agencies. 
This position is based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and reports to the CRO. The incumbent of this role will partner with our Product development and Customer Experience teams regarding the market research conducted and ensuring that our customers are aware of the JOYFUL experience they will have with our products. 
Essential Functions:

• Develop and deploy social media strategies and content for online marketing initiatives.
• Act as top brand ambassador responsible for building a strong and consistent brand through online and offline marketing channels.
• Develops campaigns and strategies that focus on brand management, driving awareness, and boosting Singing Machine’s reputation and recognition to consumers and retailers. 
• Develops and deploys marketing strategies and campaigns to boost the brand’s direct-to-consumer initiatives. Partner with the Sales Team for the growth of our sales channels.
• Partner with the Product Development team for brand management of new product lines.
• Write copy and brand strategy documents.
• Builds strategic relationships, partners with, and manages agencies and vendors.
• Monitors and analyzes consumer behavior and the performance of marketing programs and adjusts strategies, campaigns, and materials accordingly.
• Collaborates and attends trade shows, vendor events, as well as company sponsored promotional events.
• Manage the development and dissemination of press releases, internal newsletters, and other communication materials.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
• Develops and maintains department’s budget.
• Generate reports to be presented to Leadership team that map out effectiveness of various marketing campaigns.

Travel:
10-20% local travel for events and content creation efforts.
Approximately 10% travel for business meetings, trade shows, vendor events as needed.
Minimum requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Marketing or related field
•  3+ years experience in direct marketing in consumer products. 
• Proven success at managing PPC, SEO, email marketing, ABM, and social media programs.
• Proven experience as a Marketing/ Brand Manager or in a similar role, demonstrating knowledge and experience in deploying digital marketing techniques to generate awareness through effective content creation.
• Have clear, effective, and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Have strong initiative to work with limited supervision.
• Effective organization skills and ability to multi-task.
• A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication
• Valid Drivers license and reliable mode of personal transportation.
• Preferred experience in consumer electronics, toys, lifestyle, home goods, or related industries as well as experience in advertising, creative services, and public relations.
