Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to achieve company objectives, including brand positioning, product promotion, and customer acquisition.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, track ROI, and adjust strategies as needed to optimize campaign effectiveness and drive results.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, social media, email marketing, events, and advertising.
  • Lead a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and operations, to align marketing efforts with overall business goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape, leveraging insights to inform marketing strategies.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in marketing and apply them to enhance our marketing efforts and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Manage marketing budget allocation, resource planning, and expenditure to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and digital analytics tools.
  • Experience with Google Ads, paid and organic social media, programmatic, marketing automation, and Google Analytics required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Dynamics 365 CRM and Sales Accelerator preferred.
  • Travel as required, typically between 10-25%

Sales Ability/Persuasiveness - Using appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to gain acceptance of a product, service, or idea from prospects and clients.         

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports & business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, employees of the organization, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate and percentage. Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

Computer/System Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have Intermediate knowledge of:

  • Microsoft Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
  • Outlook
  • Outreach
  • Dynamics 365 CRM
  • Dynamics Sales Accelerator
  • Experience with Adobe Programs
  • Company specific programs

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Current valid driver’s license
