Marketing Intern

Camping World’s Marketing department is looking for a Digital Marketing Intern for the summer of 2024 to support the internal Digital Marketing team across Paid Social and Paid Search. The person in this role will learn the skills required to set up, launch and report on campaigns across all Good Sam businesses.  

Candidates must have the ability to work in our Chicago or Lincolnshire office on a hybrid basis (3 days in office, 2 days remote) for 10 weeks, beginning in June of 2024.

Responsibilities:  

• Learn the operation of the paid promotion platforms that are used by the team as well as the structure and functions of the Good Sam businesses. 
• Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate, review, and execute various paid marketing ideas and strategies across marketing platforms, data reporting platforms, and project management platforms. 

• Daily campaign performance monitoring & weekly data analysis reporting for each Good Sam business. 
• Actively listen, absorb information, and participate in meetings to discuss future projects, and to report on current and past campaigns. 
• Be able to understand the difference between each Paid channel, its use cases, terminology, reporting metrics and how users interact with each business line. 
• Assist the Marketing team with various projects and tasks as assigned. 

Qualifications:  

• Junior or Senior in pursuit of a Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related field. - Cumulative 3.0 GPA 
• Strong passion for marketing & advertising and eagerness to learn and develop marketing skills 
• Sufficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). 
• Basic knowledge of social media platforms and their use within marketing. 

• Ability to maintain professional demeanor and strict confidentiality 
• Must be diligent, organized, and extremely detail-oriented 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment with ability to multitask 
• Strong work ethic with research and note-taking skills
