The Insights Intern role will provide an opportunity to gain experience within various areas of the Insights department, including support of all market research programs (Planner pulse, Venue Pulse, Brand Pulse), customer experience transactional program (Event Pulse powered by Medallia), and Product/Innovation research.
This position is based in Rosemont, IL. Temporary housing is not provided for this role.

- Learn the role of Customer Experience (CX) in building loyalty
- Exposure to Qualitative and Quantitative research methods
- Experience cross-functional collaboration with Product Marketing, Product Management, Operations and Sales.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Support Insights function on a variety of strategic projects that may include: survey design/programming; data analysis and reporting; respondent recruiting; discussion guides; competitive intelligence gathering; market/industry research;
- Execute new primary qualitative or quantitative research to understand customer needs/ expectations and improve the customer experience.
- Communicate complex analyses and insights in a simple and actionable way to business partners; develop creative and immersive ways to help business partners take data from insights to action.
- Complete projects independently and/or part of a team.
- Attends meetings, presentations, and training to ensure exposure to the full range of the Insights function and it's role within Marketing.
Required Experience:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program as a Junior or Senior level at an accredited college or university
- Pursuing degree in Business, Marketing, Market Research, Psychology or Statistics.
- Excellent writing, communication, and relationship management skills
- High curiosity quotient (CQ) with a passion to understand the "what" and "why" behind human behavior and motivations.
- Self-starter with proven organizational, analytic, and problem solving skills.
- Familiar with standard office software and applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point)
- Experience manipulating and analyzing structured and unstructured data using tools such as R, SPSS, SAS, Python, or Qualtrics a bonus.
