The Marketing Graphics Designer works collaboratively with Marketing Development team members, as well as independently, to accomplish daily responsibilities. This individual develops creative visual content to enhance Sales and Marketing projects, including print collateral and electronic mediums for both external and internal applications. The Marketing Graphics Designer applies insurance industry business acumen to create visualizations which convey accurate messaging for concepts and products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides visual art and develops creative approaches that support marketing strategies and department goals including field publications, blast emails, brochures, advertisements, agent presentations, direct mail, E-platforms, websites and technological applications.
- Designs integrated typography, photography, illustrative and graphic elements for sales and marketing projects within established timelines to enable the team meet deadlines for deliverables.
- Uses colors, text, images and symbols to assist with EquiTrust’s design process and to create communications which are easily understood by intended audiences.
- Utilizes design software and authoring tools including web graphics, web animations, and banner ads to provide graphics which communicate industry-specific sales concepts and EquiTrust product information visually.
- Stays informed of current multimedia, print, and web design trends and developments in order to offer creative communication solutions, specifically as they relate to EquiTrust’s marketspace.
- Coordinates and manages relationships with design resources and printing vendors.
- Supports Sales and Marketing team and other departments on an as needed basis.
- Willingly takes on additional responsibilities as requested in order to accomplish department and Company objectives.

- Ability to prioritize workflows, establish and meet deadlines and manage multiple concurrent tasks.

- Advanced computer skills and the ability to navigate multiple systems and programs including Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and other design solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills are required, including a high degree of professionalism.

Training or Work Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in graphic design, as well as digital and web platforms required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in annuity and life insurance products, marketplace and sales concepts preferred.
Education:
- Bachelors’ Degree – Required
- Specific Degree: Graphic Design or Commercial Art
Working Conditions:
- Travel not likely/required.
