Duties & Responsibilities:
- Leader: Recruit, inspire, retain, and develop marketing talent through coaching and mentoring.
- Pursuits: Lead the completion of marketing pursuits including RFQ/RFPs, qualification packages, presentations, and interview materials; ability to jump in and assist the team as workload demands.
- Marketing Campaign Creation/Management: Lead the ideation, visualization, development, and execution of annual marketing campaigns in support of the firm's marketing plan and strategic vision. Collaborate with marketing team members to guide content development, messaging, and strategy for the campaign, and ultimately be responsible for managing the execution. Collaborate with marketing / branding team leaders to develop corporate messaging and ensure implementation across all platforms.
- Digital Marketing: Ensure the content of the corporate website, social medial channels, and other collateral align and support the marketing strategy;
- Social Media - Lead the development and implementation of our social media strategy; Understand SEO, develop and provide KPIs.
- Materials - Deliverables – Work closely with internal partners to ensure the highest level of deliverables that elevate the Bobbitt/Radius brands.
- PR/Advertising – Manage the PR/advertising strategy to ensure alignment and consistency of messaging throughout the organization and external outlets.
- Content development: Develop strategic marketing content from technical experts and seek channels to communicate externally through publications, speaking engagements, roundtable discussions, webinars, etc.
- Event Management: Oversee the success of internal and external events, including client appreciation, employee appreciation and other community service events.
- Internal Communications: Curate and develop content and messaging for multi-channel internal communications. Develop relationships with key internal partners such as operations executives, sector and regional leaders. Attend key meetings. Develop processes to ensure key messages / news is being communicated by leaders to team members.
- Regional engagement - Provide focused efforts to further garner employee engagement from regional offices via regular and tailored employee communications.
- Safety Communications - Partner with the Safety Director to develop and implement a strategy for creating effective and impactful safety and risk mitigation communications for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Crisis communications - Manage the crisis communications process and execution, working closely with risk management, operations, and executive leadership.
- Measurables - Develop and execute corporate initiatives, identifying innovative approaches and managing KPIs to increase effectiveness of marketing strategies.
- Brand Ambassador - Represent Bobbitt at industry and professional organizations and events.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, PR, or English.
- Six years of experience in increasing roles of responsibility in marketing, communications, or PR, or a combination thereof.
- Experience in B2B or professional services marketing.
- Experience in leading and managing a team of 2-6 employees.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, social media and SEO tools, CRM systems, Email & survey campaign tools, and content management systems (WordPress).
- Proven experience in developing and implementing process, creating efficiencies, and identifying KPIs to prove ROI.
- Proven experience developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Experience in writing press releases and media relations.
- Excellent writing, communication, and public speaking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects with changing priorities.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex projects across a variety of functions.
- Graduate Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, PR or English.
- 2+ years of experience in a role managing direct reports.
- Marketing experience specific to the A/E/C industry.
- Experience managing a marketing budget.
- Experience managing crisis communications.
- Directly supervises the positions of Senior Marketing Coordinator, Marketing Coordinator and Marketing Assistant.
- Occasional travel (10-15%) to meetings and events, typically within a 100-mile radius of the office.
- Occasional travel to various job site locations as needed for photography or milestone events.
- Ability to lift 10-25 lbs. as needed to handle marketing materials, trade show booth set up, etc.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to see well (naturally or with correction).
