Marketing & Digital Technology Director- Electric Power Division
Job Summary
As the Marketing and Digital Technology Director for Caterpillar’s Electric Power Division (EPD), you’ll have the opportunity to grow the Electric Power business through marketing and Digital Technology. You'll provide commercial leadership in the execution of dealer and services growth plans across Energy & Transportation, focused on collaborating with our dealer network to ensure success.
Your Team:
This is a leader of leaders role, with team members based in the United States, United Kingdom and several locations in Asia. Reporting to this position directly are marketing communications, technical marketing and training, customer experience, ecommerce, product cybersecurity, dealer execution and data analytics managers. This position will work with customers, distribution partners and external suppliers, as well as various internal partners including sales, engineering, and other digital product, industry segment and marketing organizations.

Travel: 15-20%

What You Will Do:
Develop and execute Customer Experience, Training, and Marketing Communications plans for existing and new products, services, and business models.
Develop, recommend, and implement market research plans for key products and services.
Develop, recommend, and implement strategic plans for expansion of existing and new products or services.
Present overall plans and strategic direction to senior management for funding approval and support.
Lead Sustainability events and presentations focused on new customers in the Utility and policy/regulatory sectors.
Lead internal and external training in product, processes and business models.
Develop eCommerce and Product cybersecurity strategic and tactical plans in collaboration with multiple Caterpillar industries.
Work collaboratively with Electric Power and other Caterpillar industry leaders to develop and execute business growth plans with the Cat dealer network.
Lead, engage, and develop a global team to meet current and future customer and business needs.
What You Have:
Customer Focus: Expert in providing customer-focused vision, strategy and leadership. Strong business acumen including demonstrated ability to drive customer outcomes through commercial leadership.
Global Perspective : Extensive experience leading in global markets (customers, products, suppliers, production, and talent).
Effective Communications : Strong communication, emotional intelligence, listening, and collaboration / relationship management skills.
Influencing : Demonstrated ability to utilize data and assessments to influence key decision makers.
Strategic Thinking : Extensive experience in interpreting internal and external data to recommend long-term directions and partnerships.
Additional Requirements:
Commercial, sales or marketing experience
Experience managing vendor and supplier relationships
Strong leadership skills in strategic planning, coaching, influencing, and driving engagement to deliver results
